2017 Elantra Sees $100 Price Decrease

On Friday, Hyundai announced pricing for the 2017 Elantra, which is scheduled to arrive at dealerships later this month. Entering its sixth generation, Elantra offers a refined, modern aesthetic, and class-above amenities. With a starting price of $17,150, for the SE model with 6-speed manual transmission, it's available for $100 less than the previous model.

“Not only is the 2017 Elantra priced $100 less than the outgoing model, we also enhanced the value on our most popular option package to provide consumers with access to premium features and technology on volume models," said Scott Margason, director, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. "For example, the Elantra SE with Popular Equipment package costs $200 less than before, but adds additional content such as a seven-inch Display Audio system with rearview camera and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto at a significant value.”

MSRP for the SE model, when equipped with a 6-speed SHIFTRONIC Automatic Transmission, is $18,150. The generously-equipped Limited model starts at $22,350.
