New Santa Fe Earns "Full-Size CUV of Texas" Honors at the Texas Truck Rodeo

A couple weeks ago, on October 7 - 9, the Texas Auto Writers Association hosted the 23rd annual Texas Truck Rodeo. Truck, SUV, and CUV enthusiasts, including 70+ TAWA members, gathered at Knibbe Ranch in Spring Branch, Texas, to see vehicles from across the industry put to the test; being evaluated on style, performance, off-road capability, fuel economy, price, and more. A winner was chosen in each segment, and named the vehicle of Texas for that class.

In the Full-Size Crossover Utility Vehicle segment, the 2016 Santa Fe was up against some tough competition from the likes of the Honda Pilot, and Nissan Pathfinder. In the end, however, it was the Hyundai crossover that took home the prize. Responding to the results, Michael Marrs, president of TAWA, said "The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe earns our award for the Full-size Crossover Utility Vehicle of Texas - it delivers on comfort, functionality and reliability.”

Here at Cocoa Hyundai, we're proud to offer the latest Santa Fe to our customers from northern Brevard County. If you want to learn more about the award-winning crossover, feel free to contact us, or visit us on West King Street in Cocoa.
